Terms and Conditions

Prior to participating in any Sunday Sauce Hockey LLC activities you must read, complete and sign a liability waiver. By participating in the Sunday Sauce Hockey LLC pick-up ice hockey league, you acknowledge and agree to the following summarized terms and conditions:

**1. Assumption of Risk:**

Ice hockey is a physically demanding and inherently dangerous sport. By choosing to participate in this league, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with playing ice hockey, including but not limited to, collisions, falls, and any other potential accidents or injuries.

**2. Release of Liability:**

You hereby release and discharge Sunday Sauce Hockey LLC, its organizers, agents, coaches, volunteers, and the owners and operators of the rink (hereinafter referred to as "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury or damage, including personal injury or property damage, that may occur during or as a result of your participation in the league or its activities.

**3. Waiver of Legal Rights:**

You agree to waive any right to bring a legal action or assert a claim against the Released Parties for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation in the league, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise.

**4. Safety Precautions:**

You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to play safely, follow the rules of the game, wear appropriate protective gear, and take all necessary precautions to minimize the risk of injury to yourself and others.

**5. Medical Condition Disclosure:**

You certify that you are in good physical health and have no medical conditions that could increase the risk of injury while participating in ice hockey. You also acknowledge that you are responsible for assessing your own physical readiness to participate. You must not be under the influence of any mind altering substances during your participation in any Sunday Sauce Hockey LLC activities.

**6. Photography and Likeness:**

You consent to the use of any photographs, video recordings, or likenesses of yourself taken during league activities for promotional and marketing purposes by Sunday Sauce Hockey LLC or their partners without compensation.

**7. Compliance with Rules:**

You agree to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by Sunday Sauce Hockey LLC, its organizers, and the rink owners. Failure to do so may result in suspension or expulsion from league activities.

**8. Agreement Binding:**

This agreement is binding upon you and your heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.

**9. Governing Law:**

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The State of Connecticut and the United States of America.

By participating in the Sunday Sauce Hockey LLC pick-up ice hockey league, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of this waiver, you should not participate in the league.

Terms and Conditions - Sunday Sauce Hockey LLC Ice Hockey Participation

In consideration of being allowed to participate in ice hockey and related activities ("Activities") operated by Sunday Sauce Hockey LLC (the "Host"), I, the Participant, and if applicable, my parent(s) or legal guardian(s), acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Assumption of Inherent Risks (A): I understand that participating in ice hockey involves inherent risks, including but not limited to collisions, lacerations, falls, and the risk of injury and/or death. I acknowledge that injuries may result from the actions or inactions of other players or officials, even when penalized. I accept these inherent risks as part of the sport of hockey.

Voluntary Participation (B): My participation in the Activities is voluntary, and I have had the opportunity to inspect the Host's equipment and facilities before participating.

Physical and Mental Condition (C): I certify that I have no physical or mental condition that precludes me from participating in the Activities, and I am not participating against medical advice. I will not be under the influence of alcohol, cannabis (marijuana), or any other mind-altering substance during my participation.

Adherence to Rules (D): I understand that I am obligated to follow the rules of the Activities, which can minimize my risk of injury. I will exercise common sense and be aware of my surroundings.

Safety Reporting (E): If I observe any unusual hazard or condition during the Activities that jeopardizes my safety or that of others, I will immediately remove myself from participation and inform the Host.

Jersey Return and Replacement: I acknowledge that I am responsible for returning my assigned jersey at the end of each individual pickup skate. Failure to do so or any loss or theft of the jersey will result in an $85 fee.

Photography/Video Release: I grant the Host permission to take photographs/videos of me during my participation in the Activities and authorize the Host to use and publish these for lawful purposes, including publicity, advertising, and social media.

Liability Waiver and Hold Harmless: In consideration of participating in Sunday Sauce Hockey LLC private recreational pick-up ice hockey skates, I assume full responsibility for any known or unknown risks, injuries, or damages. I release and hold harmless the Host, organizers, participants, ice rink owners, and operators (released parties) from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from my participation.

I understand the physical and demanding nature of ice hockey, and I have no medical conditions that would prevent me from participating safely. I affirm that I will not be under the influence of mind-altering substances during my participation.

I voluntarily participate, acknowledging that this waiver cannot be modified orally. I am at least 18 years old, have read and understood these terms, and recognize that I am waiving substantial legal rights. I understand this agreement is binding without an expiration date and must be completed and signed before participation
